Hibbing Community Education's Youth Development Program initiated this peer tutoring program in Grades 3–12. The objectives of the program are to:

• provide additional help to those students who cannot use existing tutoring programs;
• provide additional help to those students requesting help;
• promote peer support and mentorship;
• provide a community service component to the program to promote citizenship; and
• provide a quiet place for students, where resource materials are available.
