SUBJECT: 205 Open and Closed Meetings

Except as otherwise expressly provided by statute, all meetings of the school board, including executive sessions, shall be open to the public.

Meetings shall be closed only when expressly authorized by law and upon a motion duly seconded stating the purpose of the closed meeting.  The chair shall state whether the school board intends to take formal action at the conclusion of the closed meeting.
