Students are screened prior to enrolling into Kindergarten.  The screening results assist us in providing appropriate programming for the individual student.  During the K-2 years, students are assessed three times per year using the NWEA Assessments.  Adjustments are made in instruction to ensure learning at the student's academic level and updates to student progress are given to parents after each assessment.  The results are used to track student progress and predict future academic success and success on the Minnesota Comprehensive Assessment given to students throughout Minnesota in third grade.
