All school district employees and job applicants whose positions require a commercial driver’s license shall be required to undergo drug and alcohol testing in accordance with federal law and the applicable provisions of this policy.
DRUG AND ALCOHOL TESTING FOR SCHOOL BUS DRIVERS
All person subject to commercial driver’s license requirements shall be tested for alcohol, marijuana, cocaine, amphetamines, opiates (including heroin), and phencyclidine (PCP), in compliance with federal law. Drivers who test positive for alcohol or drugs shall be subject to disciplinary actions, which may include termination of employment.
