SUBJECT: 802 Disposition of Obsolete Equipment and Material

The superintendent shall be authorized to dispose of obsolete or surplus materials and equipment.

Books, materials, and equipment which has little or no value shall be discarded or destroyed in a manner as defined by procedure or rule.

Equipment and materials which are obsolete or surplus shall be offered for sale at a fair market price consistent with the district’s procedures and state statutes.
